A vintage stoneware vase with an organic asymmetric form and a heavily textured crawl glaze in cream and warm olive. The glaze has pulled and blistered across the surface during firing, leaving a rough, almost mineral texture throughout that is dense with tiny craters that catch light and shadow differently from every angle. The dark clay body shows through at the base and in the recesses of the crawl. The opening is small from one corner for an asymmetric arrangement.

The form reads as much as sculpture as it does a vessel. It earns its place on a shelf empty and works just as well with a loose stem or two. In excellent condition, no chips or damage. There is only one.
