Tonya Abel threw this small moon vase on the wheel in her Portland studio, finishing it in a soft pink glaze. The pink glaze developed a scatter of small craters across the stoneware during firing, texture no two pieces share. The vase has the same full, rounded body and narrow opening as Tonya's other moon vases, just smaller in scale. Those craters and their exact placement belong to this piece alone. There is only one.
