"Release 18" is an original fiber art piece by local artist Nik Nik, made from abaca fiber and earth pigments in 2023. Nik Nik works with organic materials in handbuilt forms, wasting nothing and forcing nothing. Every piece carries the mark of how it was made: irregularities go uncorrected, fingerprints stay. Made slowly and released in limited quantities throughout the year, "Release 18" is genuinely one of a kind. The piece measures 21 by 29 inches and arrives already framed. There is only one.
