Pillar Stoneware Serving Platter

The Standard Affair Pillar Serving Platter is a rectangular stoneware platter for roasts, grilled meats and vegetables, and composed cheese boards, and one of the timeless home objects I would set out for any gathering, from a Sunday roast to a long, lingering cheese course.

I carry this stoneware platter because the proportions are right: at nearly fifteen inches long it holds a whole roast or a full board of cheese and fruit, while its low profile keeps the food front and center. The Pillar collection is designed by stylist Kira Corbin, who founded Standard Affair in 2025, and the stoneware is made with recycled clay.

The Standard Affair glaze is subtly expressive, so each Pillar platter varies slightly from the next. That variation is part of the design, and the platter sits easily beside the Pillar bowls and plates for a table that feels collected rather than matched.
