A stoneware small pedestal serving plate, made by Portland ceramicist Kati von Lehman. The stoneware sits on a raised, tapered foot beneath a wide, shallow plate, giving the piece height and presence on a table or shelf. Each plate is made to order, one of Hoppe Shoppe's timeless home objects, so the glaze and form vary slightly from piece to piece. A charcoal glaze drips unevenly down the pedestal, breaking to a warm exposed clay at the base. Part of Hoppe Shoppe's curated collection of handmade ceramics and functional studio pottery.
