A stoneware pitcher with a white and brushed iron glaze, made by Portland ceramicist Kati von Lehman and called the Lotus Pitcher. The stoneware is surprisingly lightweight for its size, with a pulled handle and a pinched pouring spout shaped by hand. Each pitcher is made to order, one of Hoppe Shoppe's timeless home objects, so the glaze and form vary slightly from piece to piece. The brushed iron moves across the white glaze in warm, irregular strokes, so no two pitchers read quite the same.
