A wide flared stoneware bowl in white glaze, handmade by New York ceramicist Brent Gillentine of BEG Ceramics. The form is generous and quietly confident — a broad, open lip that makes the bowl as good to look at as it is to use. Set it on a counter filled with fruit, use it as a serving vessel at the table, or let it hold its own on a shelf. The white stoneware has a warmth to it that pure porcelain never quite achieves, and because each bowl is thrown by hand, no two are exactly the same.
