A pair of antique sterling silver salt and pepper shakers with a tapered bell form, lined detail at the shoulder and base, and perforated domed tops. The silver is marked sterling and carries a deep, uneven patina throughout. Darker in the recesses and lined detail, lighter on the raised body where the metal has been handled. The two shakers are identical in form and size and sit as a true matched pair.

The patina is honest and substantial, the kind that comes from decades of use at a table. Both shakers function as intended. In good condition with wear consistent with age throughout. There is only one pair.
