Jewelry holds special meaning - often known only to the wearer - which is one of the reasons we tend to hold onto it for so long. But what good is a box full of beautiful baubles if they go unworn because they’re broken, missing their match or simply no longer match your personal style?

Jewelry Box Social is a unique workshop with jewelry designer and restorer, Laura Dunnagan where participants bring in their actual jewelry box, learn basic jewelry care and repair techniques and are offered creative suggestions for re-working old or unworn jewelry into fresh, personalized designs.

Laura starts with a style quiz that will help define your “jewelry personality” and then digs into your boxes and looks for ways to update or alter your pieces into something you’ll be excited to wear again. Participants are also encouraged to share stories about their favorite pieces.
