A vintage pewter pedestal bowl made in India, with a generous rounded form, three horizontal bands running the exterior, and a turned ball stem on a wide footed base. The pewter has a soft, even tone that sits somewhere between silver and warm grey, polished but not fussy about it.

The form is classical and completely confident. The banding gives it just enough detail to be interesting without competing with the shape itself.

Works beautifully holding fruit, small objects, or simply sitting on a table or console as the object it is. The pewter bowl sits flat and stable.
