A vintage carved onyx pedestal dish with a wide shallow bowl and a turned pedestal foot, available in two sizes. The onyx is cream throughout with warm brown veining that shifts and pools differently across each piece, no two dishes identical in their patterning, which is the nature of the material. The surface is polished smooth and the bowl sits open and low, well suited as a ring dish, a salt cellar, a small catchall, or a surface object that earns its place without asking for attention.

Both sizes share the same form and proportion. The smaller dish sits tighter and more concentrated; the larger dish has a broader, more open bowl with a slightly wider foot. Each is sold individually. In excellent condition, no chips or damage. There is only one of each size.
