A vintage silvered metal bud vase with a stepped fan form, rising from a flat square base to a wide notched opening. The body is faceted with vertical ribs that catch the light at different angles, and the front face carries an engraved geometric motif a diamond lattice below, a layered arc above, worked into the metal with precision. The silver has developed an uneven patina, darker in the engraved recesses and lighter on the raised ribs, with minor surface wear consistent with age.

The square base keeps it planted and upright. The opening is narrow, suited to a single stem or a few slender ones. It reads as strongly as an object on its own as it does holding flowers. In good condition with honest wear throughout. There is only one.
