A handbuilt white stoneware trophy bowl by Washington ceramicist Salto. The bowl sits on a faceted octagonal pedestal base with two small tab handles — small in scale, serious in character. The exterior carries the raw, sandy texture of the stoneware; the interior is smooth white glaze. Use it for a pinch of flaky salt, a few rings at the end of the day, or simply as the kind of object that earns its place on a shelf. Each one handbuilt, each one slightly different.
