hand-built stoneware bottle jug with a deeply textured exterior, the clay surface worked and cracked into a map of fissures and ridges that covers the full body in warm terracotta and deep charcoal. The neck is glazed in a soft ash green that sits in quiet contrast to the raw, earthy body below it. A small looped handle sits at the shoulder, hand-formed and slightly irregular in the best way.

This one is hard to look away from. The surface texture has the quality of something found rather than made, like a piece of earth that decided to become a vessel.

A few dried stems or branches look completely right in it. So does an empty shelf.
