A hand-thrown stoneware bud vase with two small loop handles and a layered blue-green glaze that shifts between sage and periwinkle across the surface. The glaze is speckled throughout, pooling slightly where it meets the unglazed foot, and the brushwork in the finish gives the stoneware a depth that changes depending on the light.

The form is simple and full, narrowing at the base and opening to a short collared neck. The loop handles sit low on the shoulder, small and purposeful. The stoneware is solid and well-thrown, with the slight irregularity of something made entirely by hand.

A good vase for a single stem or a small cutting. Sits beautifully on a windowsill, shelf, or beside a stack of books.
