A matching pair of vintage carved cream stone column bookends, each a round fluted column on a square base with a flat capital. The stone is cream throughout with a slightly porous, matte surface and minor wear consistent with age. The fluting is clean and even, the form drawn from classical architecture and rendered small and solid.

The two columns are identical in form, proportion, and stone. They work as bookends, display pedestals for small objects, or shelf sculptures that hold their own without anything placed on them. There is only one pair.
